What a beautiful prayer! After personal confession he acknowledges GOD as the covenant keeper with those who love Him and keep His commandments.\u003cbr /\u003eHe then declares himself and his people to be wicked rebels who are receiving the righteous punishment of God for failing to turn from \u0026quot;...our wickedness\u0026quot;. His supplication is that although confusion and shame of face rightly belong to the people, God hear this prayer and turn away His anger and wrath and cause His face to shine on His desolate sanctuary for the LORD\u0026#39;S sake.  \u003cbr /\u003eOur Lord Jesus Christ commands us to believe on Him and to love one another. How humbling it is to know that the One who gives this command did everything required to reconcile us to the Father by dying in our place. What a great and awesome God!
