Law vs. Grace

"Run, John, run. The law commands

But gives neither feet nor hands.

Better news the gospel brings;

It bids us fly and gives us wings."

- John Bunyan

That's grace.

I love it too, Kaysie. John Bunyan is by far my favorite English author in the whole world.

Probably one of the shortest ways I've seen truth spread. :) I haven't read John Bunyan, but I've listened to different excerpts of his works when my friend/pastor/youth pastor talks about Bunyan.

Thank you for your commentary on my recent post, with every thought I hear from you, I have more respect and admiration for the love you have for Christ. And your posts are amazing. Grace! What else need to be said!

You know, I had no idea that the Church of Christ (organization) claimed that they are the only true church... that is eye-opening. I am reading about the Church of Christ in response to your comment, so I can learn more about them. Could you also provide me information on their cultist nature - so I can discern what displeases God on what they do? I'm a relatively new Christian (of 11 months) - and I need all the protection I can get from false gospels and false "Christianity". Thanks again, Penn! :)

God bless you!

Roshan: Yeah, Bunyan is cool bc he did a lot of his Bible study and writing in jail. He never had a formal education, but could outpreach the most scholarly guys in England at the time, and today in my opinion. He loved grace and wrote a book about it called "Saved by Grace." Thanks for your comments, I've answered you by email.

Meshaay: Did you write your poem yet?

Gasp! No way! This is like my life quote. I read it in Don't Waste Your Life, I believe. I love John Bunyan...and John Piper for that matter!
